Circuit Simulation Simulation is used to identify potential design
problems that arise from temperature, component tolerances and aging or other
external effects. We use Simetrix, a
SPICE-based simulator with tools to explore circuit behaviour with component
variations, non-linearities, start-up transients and many other phenomena
that would be difficult or impossible to evaluate in other ways. The graph below shows a digital pseudo random
sequence generated from a feedback shift register, and the analog equivalent
after filtering. Such signals are used in data communications and RF test
equipment respectively. |
