Schematic Capture In this phase the design begins to assume
reality. The design moves from thoughts, notes and sketches to an organised and complete
diagram. Schematic capture not only produces a diagramatic record of the
design, it also provides a parts list, connection netlist and other
information for the printed circuit design which follows. We use Electronics Workbench Multicap to
create schematics and associated documents. Multicap couples automatically to
the companion printed circuit board design product, UltiBoard. The schematic shown below is part of an
industrial controller product with many different serial communication ports
including isolated RS232, RS485 and CANbus. |
